Devour, a frozen food brand by Kraft Heinz – one of the world’s largest food and beverage firms – has acquired a spot in the Super Bowl LIII. The major football event remains one of the most-watch TV programs on an annual basis in America, so most companies are keen to take advantage of this prime advertising opportunity.
Kraft Heinz introduced the Devour ready-meal line in 2016. Now the brand is gearing up to take the spotlight with a 30s second commercial during the game’s third quarter. The Super Bowl will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on February 3, 2019.
Kraft Heinz’s frozen meals, which are predominantly targeting the male demographic, have seen double-digit sales increases since their launch. Now, by securing a spot in the Super Bowl, Devour is ready to take the next step towards reaching new customers.
The ad will be created by the David Miami agency, but no specifics on the content have been released just yet.
Kraft Heinz is no stranger to the Super Bowl. In 2016, the company had the “Weiner Stampede” ad. As for the Devour, the brand’s frozen sandwiches were promoted in connection with the movie Deadpool last year, in anticipation of the release of Deadpool 2.
