The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) named Adam Thocher as the organization’s new senior vice president of Global Programs and Insights starting May 1.
Thocher brings nearly two decades of executive experience to GCCA, with a focus on the development of member-centric programs and improving member value propositions worldwide. Most recently, he served as the vice president of Volunteer Engagement and Member Services at the International Council of Shopping Centers, according to a press release.
Thocher will oversee the creation and enhancement of all global programs and services that benefit GCCA’s 1,300 member companies in 85 countries. In addition, he will continue to grow the association’s global market research and intelligence initiatives providing relevant, accurate, and timely data analysis to the membership.
“Adam’s extensive experience working with associations and their members from across the world will be invaluable as GCCA continues to grow our presence globally,” Matthew Ott, president and CEO of GCCA said. “His ‘member-first’ mentality and approach to management will be a great asset and we are excited to have him join the GCCA team.”
