
THAIFEX-World of Food Asia welcomed more than 20,000 F&B professionals on the opening day. The event, officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Khun Somkid Jatusripitak, had guests observing innovative products, industry-related seminars and 46 country pavilions offering products from all over the world.
Marking a 13.2 per cent increase in international participation, new country groups from Australia, Poland, Scotland and the United States of America made their debut at THAIFEX-World of Food Asia. This strong presence also complements the international participation from returning countries such as China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey and Vietnam.
Organized by Koelnmesse and Innova Market Insights, the first edition of the THAIFEX Innovation Zone featured a carefully curated Top 50 Most Innovative Products showcase, according to the Top 10 Trends driving the food and beverage landscape. Complementing this is a series of seminars held by well-known innovation companies, such as Tetra Pak, Venture Tec Marketing and Biolan.
This year’s display will feature information on the top ten trends driving the food and beverage landscape, including the clean supreme and disruptive green. Key presentations were supported with statistical data and interesting new product launch examples.
