Italian frozen pizza manufacturer Italpizza is making a significant return to MARCA by BolognaFiere 2025, the company’s first major trade show of the year.
At their exhibition space in Pavilion 29, the company is introducing new additions to their flagship product lines, including expansions of their iconic 26×38 and Numero Uno series.
The spotlight falls on the company’s new “Grillfest” variant, a meat lover’s dream featuring a combination of salami, sausage, and bacon. The product will be available in two formats: the shareable 26×38 size and the individual Numero Uno portion. This recipe revival builds on the success of a similar product launched in 2021 under the “Barbecue” name, which quickly became a bestseller. The company plans to distribute the new “Grillfest” pizzas across European markets starting this spring.
Visitors to Italpizza’s booth will be greeted by a large LED video wall showcasing the company’s operations and products. The display highlights the company’s expanding portfolio, which has grown significantly over the past year to include the Numero Uno Golden Edition featuring DOP buffalo mozzarella from Campania, and the 3X3 mini pizzas sold in packs of nine. The company’s latest innovation, “La Bomba,” features a patented technology that creates a crust stuffed with mozzarella and smoked scamorza cheese.
The Italpizza Group, founded in 1991, has established itself as a leader in the frozen pizza market. The company generates over 400 million euros in annual revenue, with 60% coming from exports to 58 countries. Operating five manufacturing facilities with a combined capacity of 435 million pizzas annually, Italpizza produces both private label products for major global retailers and its own branded lines, employing more than 1,700 people.
What sets Italpizza’s products apart is their ability to replicate traditional pizzeria methods on an industrial scale. Their exclusive production process includes dough that ferments for over 24 hours, manual stretching and topping of each pizza, and cooking in wood-fired ovens, maintaining artisanal quality in mass production.
