New Jars for Ice Cream

Polish supplier of fruit preserves and additives Prospona has selected the 1 litre barrier Ultra jar from RPC Promens Consumer Kutenholz for its Variegato range of pastes for ice creams, cakes and desserts.

The Ultra jar features a multilayer PP/EVOH/PP construction which allows hot filling and provides protection from oxygen ingress to deliver an extended ambient shelf life for the products. Contact clarity maximises the appeal of the colourful products on-shelf and a large labelling area further enhances brand image and differentiation.

“The 1 litre Ultra from RPC Promens Kutenholz is the perfect jar for our needs,” confirms Pawel Chmielowski, Prospona’s CEO. “It is excellent for our high temperature process and a great alternative to glass and cans.”

Variegato products offer an ideal fruity flavour additive and aroma enhancer of ice creams, cakes and desserts. Five flavours are currently available – passion fruit, mango, lime, cranberry and elderberry.
