Once Upon a Farm Launches Refrigerated Protein Bar

In a move to revolutionize children’s nutrition, Once Upon a Farm has launched refrigerated protein bars targeting active, growing kids.

Available nationwide in refrigerator aisles, these organic, Non-GMO Project Verified bars offer a nutritious alternative for parents seeking wholesome snacks.

The new protein bars, available in Oatmeal Chocolate and Cinnamon Roll flavors, pack 8 grams of protein from milk and whey concentrate—equivalent to a cup of whole milk. Crafted with real fruit and vegetable purees, whole grain oats, and no added sugar, the bars are designed to appeal to children in what the company calls the “beige phase” of eating.

“After years of development, we have finally nailed the sweet spot of delivering a taste and texture that kids love while also giving their body the nutrition it needs with 8 grams of protein,” said Cassandra Curtis, co-founder and chief innovation officer.

Priced at USD2.79 per bar, the product is now available at major retailers including Target, Costco, Sprouts, and Kroger, as well as online. The bars remain fresh in refrigeration and can be kept outside the fridge for up to a week, offering convenience for families on the go.
