In a strategic leadership move, Syntegon Group has appointed Eros Carletti as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective January 6, 2025.
Carletti succeeds Dr. Peter Hackel, who stepped down on December 31, 2024, after two years of service.
Bringing extensive financial expertise, Carletti joins Syntegon after a distinguished career at General Electric, where he spent over 16 years in progressively senior roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Transformation Officer of the dsm-firmenich Group and previously held the position of CFO for DSM’s nutrition business since 2018. A graduate of Bocconi University in Milan, Carletti arrives with a robust background in corporate finance.
Syntegon’s CEO Torsten Türling expressed enthusiasm about the new appointment, stating, “We are very pleased to welcome such an experienced and highly motivated CFO. Eros is the ideal fit to support the acceleration of our growth strategy. His expertise will help us deepen financial analysis, simplify processes, and drive M&A and IT transformation – key elements for the next phase of the Syntegon journey.”
Regarding Hackel’s departure, Türling acknowledged his significant contributions, noting, “Peter Hackel played a pivotal role in advancing Syntegon’s finance function over the past two years. His contributions have been invaluable to our success. We thank him for his support and wish him all the best for the future.”
The leadership transition signals Syntegon’s continued strategic focus on financial innovation and operational efficiency in the pharmaceutical and food industry supply chain.
