French snack specialist Piz’wich is extending its Pizza Pocket product line with the addition of two new options. Both are suitable for preparing in the microwave, in a conventional oven, but also in a fan oven.
The Pizza Pocket Breakfast is a quick meal alternative which features scrambled eggs, spicy Cheddar cheese and sautéed potatoes. As for the second product, the Pizza Pocket Organic, it is a pastry filled with mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto.
Part of the Frostkrone Food Group, Piz’wich says the new products are suited for sale in bake-off stations, petrol stations, and kiosks.
Piz’wich was founded in France in 2001 and it produces its Pizza Pockets in the production building in Bulgnéville. The facility takes up 2,850 sqm and houses two production lines, two deep-freezing lines and packaging lines. At the location, the company is able to produce 5,000 tons of pizza pockets per year.
