Rich Products – one of the first companies to introduce non-dairy products in the frozen food industry – has recently announced it has acquired Christine Cookie Company, based in Nashville, TN. Christie Cookie is a privately-owned maker of gourmet cookies with more than 35 years of experience in premium baked goods.
“The acquisition of Christie Cookie Company furthers our position as a premier supplier in the growing cookie category. Adding the iconic and beloved Christine brand of products to our portfolio is something we’ve very excited about as we move forward, said Ray Burke, President of Rich’s U.S.-Canada business.
Christie’s employs nearly 100 associates, with one manufacturing facility and a strong direct-to-consumer platform that includes e-commerce and a highly-regarded corporate gifting program. In addition, Christie owns two popular retail bakery shops in Nashville, with an additional location in Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators. The company produces approximately 100m cookies per year.
Rich Products is the owner of brands such as SeaPak, which sells frozen seafood and fish products, as well as Farmrich, whose products include frozen mozzarella sticks, grilled cheese sticks or loaded potato skins.
