The largest logistics operator in Poland, Rohlig SUUS Logistics, will open its first 7,000 square meter warehouse in Hungary in mid-summer at the cutting edge logistics park close to Budapest International Airport.
The 45,000 square meter MG3 building by HelloParks Maglód will facilitate tenants’ activities with adaptable green features, economical and efficient building management, and industry-leading technical solutions.
In HelloParks Maglód’s MG3 building, SUUS, a preeminent logistics service provider in Central and Eastern Europe, will take up residence. The Polish firm, specializing in integrated logistics solutions, has entered into a long-term lease deal with HelloParks, a Hungarian industrial property developer, to lease 7,000 sqm of space for its new operation in Hungary.
With 3,000 pallet spaces in the logistics warehouse and a handling terminal, the facility will function as a multipurpose logistics hub. The Maglód location will be a strategically significant hub for the company’s expanding domestic partner network.
Beyond warehousing, SUUS provides full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) road transport, rail, marine, and air freight, as well as project cargo across the region. The advancement of customs services is another area in which the organization is very focused.
“The modern hub greatly enhances our competencies in Hungary. Contract logistics, including storage, order picking and value-added services such as co-packing and labelling, have been added to our portfolio. Our new investment can serve as a warehouse for raw materials and finished goods as well as a distribution center,” said Laszló Molnár, managing director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics Hungary Kft. “Its strategic positioning, nestled near the intersection of the M0 motorway, the vital M4 section of European route E60, and the busy Budapest Airport, positions it as a crucial junction in the supply networks of both local businesses and international corporations. This includes prominent players in the automotive sector, a cornerstone of the Hungarian economy.”
