Europe’s leading ice manufacturer supplier, The Ice Co., has four of its team members announced as finalists in separate categories at this year’s British Frozen Food Federation’s (BFFF) People awards.
According to a press release, Marketing Executive, Jessica Wilsdon is up for The Rising Star Award, SOP Manager, Ben Scholey for the Adaptability Award, the company’s Supply Team is shortlisted in The Supply & Logistics Team of the Year category, and Malcolm Bell, The Ice Co’s SOP Manager, is up for the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his 28 years of service.
The awards – which celebrate the unsung heroes in the frozen food industry – will take place on 4th May at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth.
With 13 categories that reflect the diverse nature of the frozen food industry, the awards aim to shine a spotlight on the talented employees making waves in their specialist fields. “I’m delighted that we have three of our team members, and our whole Supply & Logistics team, named as finalists in these prestigious awards – they’re integral in our category to raising awareness of the industry’s unsung heroes,” said Polly Metcalfe, managing director at The Ice Co.
