Tomra Sorting Food is presenting the Blizzard, its newest optical sorter for individually quick frozen vegetables and fruit, at this year’s Food Processing Expo in California, taking place today and tomorrow, February 17-18.
Commenting on the expo, Karel Strubbe, TOMRA Sorting Food’s sales director for Americas and Oceania, says: “Attending this year’s Food Processing Expo allows us to showcase Blizzard’s technology to potential customers from across America and throughout the world. It also enables us to explain its many applications, benefits and, importantly, how it can quickly provide return on investment.
Blizzard is a cost-effective optical sorting solution for IQF vegetables and fruit processors, with a small footprint and easy installation within processing lines.
“Accurately sorting good crops from bad is often heavily scrutinized, which reinforces its importance. By employing the Blizzard sorting machine, processors will quickly realize its benefits as it thoroughly sorts produce according to the individual criteria set by its owner,” says Strubbe.
