TUTTOFOOD Milan – Quality as the Central Piece

The next edition of TUTTOFOOD, the World Food Exhibition organized by Fiera Milano and scheduled for 3 May to 6 May 2015, will offer a wide range of initiatives to support the industry and to give professionals interesting opportunities for comparing notes on their strategies, alongside the traditional business meetings and exhibitions that the event has accustomed its visitors.

The World Food Show is expecting a full house with the overall 180,000 square meters distributed over 10 pavilions (4 more than 2013) fully reserved. There will be about 2,700 companies from specific industries that will also offer crossover with all sectors in the industry, together with local associations from all over Italy. With the space fully reserved and a waiting list with dozens of companies on it, this edition is shaping up to be intense and full of innovations, according to the organizers.

Frozen Food Will Be Well Represented
Shows like TUTTOFOOD pick up on trends and offer previews of them to the market and frozen food makes no exception, with well-known companies in attendance, such as McCain, Fresystem, Surgital, Italpizza and Rispo.
One of the industries that is seeing the most vitality in terms of trends with a great number of exhibitors during the various editions of TUTTOFOOD is that of Meat and Salami. This industry is continuing to see a growing presence this year as well with leading companies like Rovagnati, Beretta, Citterio, Fiorucci and Golfera. The sweets section, Dolce Italia, is shaping up to be an interesting one as well with participation from, among others, Caffarel, Galbusera, G.Cova, Balocco, Corsini Biscotti.

Extra exposure
Expo Milano 2015, which will open on 1 May and will take place very close to the fairgrounds, offers unique opportunities for visibility for the companies and visitors present at the show. Actually, on May 3rd, TUTTOFOOD will be present in the Italy Pavilion at the World’s Fair, with a launch that is to make for a strong relationship that will last for the entire event. 

In fact, thanks to collaboration with Expo Milano 2015, exhibitors from our show will have the chance to visit the World’s Fair exclusively in the evenings after TUTTOFOOD closes for the day.
Furthermore, Fiera Milano, will allow those companies that exhibit at TUTTOFOOD, the chance to meet with commercial delegations visiting the World’s Fair over the course of the event via the “Expo Business Matching” program, on the fairgrounds. The program works by selecting the most interesting profiles for those companies that participate in TUTTOFOOD, creating an agenda of targeted meetings that will be focused in on during the show with all possible matches for the six months of Expo Milano 2015.

“TUTTOFOOD won’t just be about business meetings but will also offer important opportunities for visibility for the best products presented by companies. In addition, there will be interesting learning opportunities thanks to a full calendar of events that will bring the biggest experts to the trade fair and offer visitors one-of-a-kind opportunities for professional enrichment and continuous growth,” according to the organizers.

Supporting program
For the 2015 edition, contests are to be part of the show once again in order to truly highlight products and put the focus on their quality. These will include exhibiting companies and focus on the themes of innovation and the importance of the certification system. Technical juries made up of qualified partners will be called upon to select the finalists while the buyers themselves will be asked to make the final decision by voting during the show.
“In addition to all of this, there will be a rich program of not-to-be-missed events to give TUTTOFOOD visitors the greatest number of educational opportunities. TUTTOFOOD Academy’s schedule is still being defined, but this year it is taking a three-pronged approach with three separate areas. The first area will be in the Mixed Products section in Pavilion 1. The second area will be dedicated to the fish industry (Pavilion 5) and coordinated by Fresco Pesce. The third area will be in Pavilion 14 and will be dedicated to HoReCa & Beverage with organization by Planet One. In these special areas dedicated to education, there will also be room for cooking demonstrations, meetings and talks by industry experts who will be on hand to share their high-level expertise with visitors,” said the organizers.
