Urschel has long offered targeted cutting solutions to the global community of leading food processors — adapting to the requirements of individual applications and continuing to grow in the company’s engineering and manufacturing expertise through each endeavor. As a result of this adaptive cutting technology approach, Urschel now introduces a new concept in slicing — meet the MicroAdjustable™
Slicing Head (SL-14).
For use on the Model CC Slicer, the best-selling potato slicer in the world, the new MicroAdjustable Slicing Head (SL-14) features 14 cutting stations that maximize slice engagement. This increased cutting station design delivers much higher capacities versus the standard, fully-adjustable 8-station cutting head. Switching over to the SL-14 from the standard 8-station head requires no special adapters. The new slicing design concept does not incorporate shims or shoes, and offers toll-free knife changeovers. Weighing in at only 35 lb (16 kg) with built-in lifting handles, the SL-14 is adeptly removed and replaced. This development allows processors the ability to increase productivity without the expense of purchasing an additional slicer. Amplify your production with this latest innovation from Urschel.
