Pinguin, Greenyard’s frozen food division, has been rebranded as Greenyard Frozen, continuing to process vegetables, herbs, fruits and ready meals, both for retail and foodservice.

“We are certain that the many synergies within Greenyard will benefit our clients and appeal to their needs”, said Hans Luts, managing director of the Frozen Division. According to him, the division constantly analyzes the eating habits of the consumer, in order to come up with innovations that will help company growth.

The Frozen Division employs almost 1,600 workers, who process over 400,000 tons of products per year, in 10 different sites. Greenyard is active in 25 countries worldwide, with a yearly turnover of almost EUR4bn.
