Key Technology, part of the Duravant group, is set to introduce a range of new food processing and packaging technologies at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, highlighting advancements aimed at improving efficiency, product quality and food safety across production lines.
The company will exhibit alongside sister businesses PPM Technologies and Multiscan Technologies, presenting integrated solutions that span sorting, conveying, seasoning and inspection.
Among the أبرز launches is the ADR X, a next-generation automatic defect removal system designed for wet potato processing. The system builds on earlier versions by incorporating multi-channel sensing and advanced LED strobing technology to enhance the detection of defects and improve trimming precision. A redesigned mechanical structure removes components positioned above the product stream and integrates clean-in-place functionality, simplifying sanitation and maintenance while supporting higher uptime.
Key will also showcase its COMPASS belt-fed optical sorter, which uses multi-channel sensor data and multi-wavelength inspection to deliver performance comparable to laser-based systems without requiring mechanical scanning. The design reduces operational complexity and long-term costs while maintaining high accuracy. Its horizontal belt configuration is tailored for delicate or sticky products such as potato chips and leafy greens, allowing gentle handling at high throughput. Simplified controls and a sanitary design further aim to reduce training and cleaning requirements.
Another system on display, the Impulse vibratory conveyor, is engineered to provide precise product flow in processing and packaging applications. The equipment uses magnetic drives rather than moving mechanical parts, minimizing wear and extending service life. Its oil-free operation and sealed enclosures are intended to support hygiene standards and ensure reliability in demanding production environments.
PPM Technologies will introduce the third-generation FlavorWright All-in-One seasoning system, which combines liquid and dry application capabilities in a single compact unit. Designed for a range of products including snacks, cereals and frozen foods, the updated system incorporates enhanced drum magnets for higher-capacity operations, as well as improvements in safety, wiring and material options to increase flexibility in continuous production settings.
Meanwhile, Multiscan Technologies will present its MXV-PACK 4015 X-ray inspection system, developed to detect dense contaminants in packaged goods such as boxes, trays and bags. The system uses high-resolution imaging to identify materials that may evade conventional inspection methods, offering consistent performance across a variety of packaging formats and sizes.
Together, the product launches reflect a broader industry push toward automation, precision and integrated solutions, as manufacturers seek to improve yields, reduce labor dependency and meet increasingly stringent food safety standards.
