The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) is looking to promote the benefits of consuming frozen food, which is why it has recently released a series of three videos entitled “Meet Your Frozen Food Maker”.
All three clips, which tackle different aspects of the frozen food industry, are currently available to watch on the AFFI’s revamped website. But the common theme is how frozen food can be a nutritious, safe and affordable part of consumers’ diets.
The video materials have been created in partnership with four of AFFI’s members: Allen’s Blueberry Freezer, Wyman’s of Main, Kahiki Foods and NORPAC Foods.
“Our strength is derived from the support of its member companies and we’re proud to share their stories on our new website. The future is bright for the frozen food industry and our members are on the forefront of innovation that consumers crave”, said Alison Bodor, president, and CEO of AFFI.
The first video – Meet Your Frozen Fruit Maker – acquaints viewers with Allen’s and Wyman’s, both of which sell frozen blueberries that are individually quick frozen. The two multi-generation family-owned companies are leaders in the frozen berry segment.
Up next, Meet Your Frozen Vegetable Maker takes a look at NORPAC Foods, a cooperative that gathers 200 growers under its umbrella. The company sells frozen broccoli, peas, cauliflower, and sweet corn, among others.
As for the last video – Meet Your Asian Foods Maker – it guest stars Kahiki Foods, a player in the growing Asian frozen food category, which is selling its products in almost 20,000 stores across the US.
