Anticipation Builds For MEAT-TECH

MEAT-TECH

IPACK-IMA and MEAT-TECH, the leading exhibitions of technologies and materials for processing & packaging and of supplies for the meat industry, taking place 29 May to 1 June are seeing growing numbers of visitor pre-registrations.

Two months before the shows are due to begin, more than 30,000 professional visitors have already applied for entrance tickets. Pre-registered visitors come from more than 90 countries and represent all the business communities present at the show.

“Besides Italy, the countries with largest numbers of pre-registered visitors to date are China, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, Greece, UK, Israel, Portugal, Kosovo, Poland, Croatia, USA, Slovenia, Egypt, Algeria, the Netherlands, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Mexico, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Ethiopia and Kazakhstan. Visitors are highly qualified and generally hold important decision-making roles within their companies. Some 73% are CEOs, technical directors or R&D or production managers,” according to the organizers.

The show covers an increasingly wide range of exhibits from across the entire industry, including solutions for packaging and preservation of fresh products. New theme sections and visitor services will facilitate networking between international players.

MEAT-TECH 2018 is also strengthening its position as the key exhibition for companies that supply solutions for packaging and fresh food conservation, one of the most dynamic segments of the food industry. The exhibition will also host two new special areas. The first, MEAT+ Cold Chain Solution will house technologies for the cold chain, essential the world over for preserving produce before, during and after processing. The second, MEAT&More, will focus on equipment and materials for production, cutting and packaging of meat-based products, which are increasingly used by industry as well as by large retail chains, shopkeepers and restaurants. These types of equipment and products guarantee excellent quality in preparing produce and increase their shelf life and compliance with health standards.
