Popular ice cream brand Ben & Jerry is offering a limited edition treat in the UK this summer. It’s called Phish and Chips, and while it does not contain any fish at all, is indeed inspired to look like the British classic.
Ben & Jerry’s latest offering is actually made of their classic Phish Food ice cream and is coated in a cornflake butter and all deep fried. The dessert is offered with salty pretzels and even comes with sweet raspberry ketchup and mascarpone tartar sauce.
As mentioned above, this unique looking treat will be available for USD7.45 (or GBP5.95) at the Soho Scoop Shop in London every Friday until July 26.
Interestingly enough, back in 2009 it was reported that Ben & Jerry was considering making fish and chip flavor ice cream, but the idea never came to fruition. Ten years later, the company come up with an alternative idea.
