Central Foods, one of the UK’s leading frozen food distributors has been awarded the BRC Agents and Brokers certificate for the fourth time – achieving Double AA accreditation, the highest possible classification level, according to a press release.
The company also passed the audit first time, with no ‘non-conformances’, which reflects Central Foods’ strong commitment to quality assurance and the industry gold standard.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have once again been awarded the BRC Agents and Brokers certificate at the highest level possible,” said Gordon Lauder, MD of Central Foods. “Passing the audit first time with no ‘non-conformances’ is very rare and demonstrates the hard work our technical team has put into ensuring our full compliance with the global standards laid down by NSF, the certification body that administers the BRC scheme.
