Transport and logistic company Silvan Logistics from Poznań, Poland, has signed a long-term warehouse rental agreement. The cutting-edge facility located in Gądki, nearby main transport interchange, expedites efficient logistic customer services for partners from Poland and abroad. The warehouse starts off on 1st April, 2017.
“This is a significant investment we have been striving for a long time. We are expanding rapidly and the refrigerated warehouse is the next crucial element in comprehensive logistic services offered to our clients,” says Michał Bidziński, Silvan Logistics COB.
The warehouse of near 5,000sqm is set to open for clients in April this year. The building is adapted for storage of various goods, both food and industrial products. Ultimately, 1,000sqm are dedicated to a temperature controlled storage within 0/+4°C and +8/+12°C. The rest is intended for a dry storage.
Moreover, the facility also functions as a distribution warehouse, with services such as short and long-term storage, trans-shipment, cross-docking, sorting and picking, labeling and co-packing. The warehouse is equipped in 13 loading platforms and will be opened 24h/7, seven days a week.
