To better advance the work of its members and the cold chain industry as a whole, the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) announced it is expanding its research capabilities. As part of its new efforts, GCCA has hired a director of marketing intelligence and research, Jason Troendle who comes to the organization from the Context Network.
The developments were prompted by a recent survey conducted by GCCA which showed cold chain industry professionals need more and better industry data and trends to make business decisions and support company goals.
“GCCA is dedicated to solving its members’ business challenges. Increasing GCCA’s market intelligence function underscores and augments our commitment to members and the cold chain,” says GCCA President and CEO Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, IOM.
Troendle previously served as a senior business analyst for Context Network, where he provided strategic, market, and financial analysis around the agriculture, biotechnology, and food industries. Troendle has a master’s in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
“The cold chain industry is increasingly dynamic, and I look forward to uncovering information that can directly help GCCA members grow their businesses and improve profitability,” Troendle noted.
