German-based Hülshorst has recently presented a new turkey burger. The product is made of 80 % turkey, seasoned, roasted, and comes in pillow bags, with a piece weight of approx. 100 g.
In terms of recipe and nutritional value, the budget-friendly newcomer is similar to the three beef burgers in East Westphalia. Like beef meatballs, “Putenburger” also consists of juicy meat, but without additives, flavor enhancers or preservatives, says producer Hülshorst.
Besides turkey, the list of other ingredients includes wheat protein, egg white, potato starch, salt, spices, dry glucose syrup, and dextrose. The product’s shelf life is 12 months, while its residual time is 6 months (each with unopened original packaging).
