ISM is introducing ‘Sweet Week’ to Cologne in conjunction with the co-located supplier exhibition ProSweets Cologne. The world’s largest trade show for snacks and sweets will open its doors from January 28 to 31, 2024.
On an exhibition space of approximately 100,000 square meters, it will feature a variety of new impulses, creative product presentations, the largest selection of snacks and sweets available anywhere in the world, and the largest selection of private labels from this category. More than 1,400 exhibitors from 74 countries in the international sweets and snacks business are participating in January again this year, following the altered April schedule last year in 2023. This indicates that ISM is solidifying its position as the top global trade show. Companies from all over the world, from Albania to the United States, from Germany and its surrounding nations, as well as from far-off places like Argentina, Australia, Indonesia, Nepal, or South Africa, are among the exhibitors. Eighty-eight percent of the exhibitors are foreigners. There are 32 national pavilions representing 24 different nations and regions overall.
This year, ISM and ProSweets Cologne will once again share a location, which will have a significant positive synergistic impact across the whole value chain. In addition to the newest developments in the business, the “Sweet Week” promises a comprehensive specialized program featuring panel discussions and novel event forms. ISM’s overarching theme, “Encourage. Enable. Excite!”, centers on the difficulties posed by rising energy and raw material costs, as well as sustainability and climate protection.
In addition, the trade show pair is providing attendees with the first-ever chance to converse about the newest developments in online marketing, eCommerce, and supply chain digitalization. In conjunction with DMEXCO, the premier digital marketing and technology event in Europe, a fascinating series of lectures centered around social media and artificial intelligence, along with successful real-world implementations, will introduce new topics in digital marketing specifically for marketing directors.
