Italy–Germany Cooperation Elevates Strategic Role of Fiere di Parma and Koelnmesse

A renewed emphasis on economic cooperation between Italy and Germany is casting fresh light on the strategic partnership between Fiere di Parma and Koelnmesse, two major European trade fair organizers whose collaboration is increasingly shaping the international food exhibition landscape.

The partnership gained added relevance following the recent Italy–Germany intergovernmental summit in Rome, where both governments reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across key sectors, including industry and agriculture. Within this broader framework, the alliance between the two exhibition groups is emerging as a concrete example of industrial integration and strengthened bilateral ties in the food sector.

Early results from the collaboration have already been visible in the performance of TUTTOFOOD 2025. The event saw a 300% increase in the presence of international top buyers and a 60% rise in foreign exhibitors compared with the 2023 edition, significantly reinforcing the fair’s global profile and positioning it more firmly as a European platform for the food business.

Within this framework, the alliance between the two organizers is expected to reinforce TUTTOFOOD’s position as a key European meeting point for international food and beverage companies. The longer-term goal is to establish two complementary and non-overlapping business hubs in Europe that together serve the global food and beverage industry.
