Food Forever – a brand that supplies fruit and vegetables to various foodservice and retail consumers across both Australia and New Zealand – has unveiled a new retail brand called Rå, which offers frozen fruits in reusable and recyclable trays.
According to the Department of Environment and Energy, only 14% of plastic waste is actually recovered from recycling. Which is why the company offers their products in 100% recyclable and useful to reuse as tupperware.
Rå’s frozen blueberries, raspberries, and mango chunks are all certified as sustainably-grown by the Rainforest Alliance. Being sustainable means that the way the company’s supplier grow their crops ensures that the planet’s overall well-being is being taken into account.
Rå also announced Monde Nissin and Royal Foods as the exclusive distributors to the independent retail market from September 2019.
