Organic frozen food specialist Ökofrost has introduced the first pizza featuring organic truffles. The Pizza Bianca from Biopolar includes ricotta truffle cream, sliced mushrooms, and mozzarella, complemented by truffle flavor accents.
Biopolar pizzas are crafted in Berlin following Neapolitan tradition. The dough preparation process spans 48 hours, resulting in a distinctive aroma, characteristic crust, and improved digestibility due to reduced yeast content.
The black summer truffles are sourced from certified organic forests in central Italy, collected using truffle dogs. When baked, the truffles in the ricotta cream develop their characteristic flavor.
