Organic Frozen Berries by Cascadian Farm

Cascadian Farm has introduced a new range of organic frozen berries, called Mountain Peak Organic™ by Cascadian Farm, available so far at Whole Foods stores across the U.S.

“With more than 40 years of experience in the organic industry and 25 years growing premium, organic blueberries at our Home Farm in Skagit Valley, WA, we’re bringing you closer to the farm and closer to your food through these delicious, high quality berries,” says Ashley Minnerath, site director, Cascadian Farm Home Farm.

The two ranges include:

Mountain Peak Organic Blueberries – This is an 8-ounce frozen blueberry package containing blueberries from the Home Farm in Washington. Four varieties of blueberries, including Patriots, Toros, Bluecrop and Spartan are used to ensure a diverse and flavorful blend.

Mountain Peak Organic Harvest Berries – This is a 10-ounce package containing a delicious blend of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries sourced from a dedicated network of organic farms around the world. This blend offers a gorgeous medley of sweet, juicy flavor.

The frozen berries can be defrosted and used in a variety of recipes or on their own.

“We continue our tradition of using certified organic practices and farming in harmony with nature,” says Minnerath. “At our Home Farm, we use only natural biological systems for pest control and focus on conserving and restoring habitat to strengthen our local bee populations. We couldn’t produce such delicious berries without healthy pollinators.”
