Sigep 2021, the “Ice-Cream, Pastry, Artisan Bakery, Coffee Show” is set to take place as an expanded version. The show will last for an entire week that will include offline and digital events. “Sigep Exp – The expanded edition” organized by Italian Exhibition Group (Ieg) will be held March 15-17 at the Rimini trade fair, and then continue on 18 and 19 as a digital agenda for two days that will leverage know-how technology fromIeg, which will facilitate the matching between companies and international buyers through an online platform. .
Five event areas and seven special ones will be set up, some of which represent real novelties such as the “Innovation Gallery”, a selection of new products, technologies, and services for the out-of-home world. There will also be meeting areas for business meetings, available to all exhibitors. Finally, in the 2021 edition there will be the “Vision Plaza” moment, in which the most important sector experts will present their visions on the future of sweet business.
Exhibitors will have essential set-ups available, with defined modules and the possibility of additional kits and packages, that include digital services, in a balance between physical display and matching, a method tested with the appreciation of customers during the most recent trade fair events, according to organizers. Both the visitors who will participate in the event in situ, and the digital public, will be able to extend their networking activities, to better face the season of the resumption of the ice cream and sweet bakery segments in foodservice. In the first case, visits to the fair can be organized by selecting and saving companies and events among the favorites, using the agenda mode to make appointments and attend conferences. The digital visitor will in turn be able to activate a video platform in order to remotely participate in all the events available on the calendar and set virtual appointments.
