Foodservice distribution company Sysco has recently expanded its Cutting Edge Solutions product lineup with seven new products.
The newcomers are the Sysco Classic Brown Butter Cakes, Simply Cauliflower Pizza Crust (plant-based), Path of Life Vegetable Rice Confetti Blend, Tyson Chicken Twists and Portico Classic Wild Alaska Pollock Bites. All will be sold frozen and will be launching nationwide this month.
The new meal options are available exclusively through Sysco’s Cutting Edge Solutions platform. According to the company, the range is designed to enable customers to stand out in the competitive market. The platform was established in 2015, and since then it’s said to have delivered one million cases of new products to foodservice operators.
“The latest additions to our Cutting Edge Solutions platform demonstrate our commitment to being our customers’ most valued and trusted business partner by showcasing exclusive product offerings featuring the latest on-trend flavors, labor-saving innovations, and versatile product solutions,” said Brian Todd, senior vice president of merchandising at Sysco.
The company is continuously developing new ideas for the platform, with the next launch scheduled for September 2019.
