Findus to Enter US Market Through Ocean Beauty Seafoods Partnership

Findus, the frozen food brand original from Sweden, is coming to the US. The company has partnered up with Ocean Beauty Seafoods to have its products distributed in the country via the latter’s network. Findus’ foodservice products will be available in Q2, while retail products will hit the shelves in August 2019.

According to the press release, Ocean Beauty is expected to introduce the Findus fish-based product portfolio during the Seafood Expo North America, which will take place between March 17-19 in Boston.

Findus – a brand of Nomad Foods – has been an active player in the industry for 70 years. Now, the company’s frozen meal options will be available stateside.

“The expansion of Findus into the United States marks an exciting new chapter for this storied global frozen food brand. We look forward to working in close partnership with Ocean Beauty who is uniquely aligned with us in our desire to lead the industry in quality, sustainability and innovation,” noted Harald Guimaraes, export director of Nomad Foods.

Founded in 1910, Ocean Beauty Seafoods is one of the largest seafood companies in the Pacific Northwest. Its range includes frozen and fresh products.
