Greenyard Frozen UK has entered a new partnership with supermarket chain Tesco in order to supply its full assortment of frozen fruits, vegetables, and herbs to the retail giant.
The deal will result in a significant increase in the volume of goods sourced by Tesco and will contribute positively to the revenue of all parties in the supply chain. The partnership will also allow the supermarket giant to offer its customers the widest frozen fruit portfolio with around 25 premium quality frozen fruit stock keeping units. Greenyard will assist Tesco in terms of quality, technical management, account management, and logistics via a dedicated team and the collaboration of different departments.
Greenyard has supplied frozen produce to Tesco for the last 35 years, but the new supply agreement will enable the former company to distribute its full assortment of frozen fruits, vegetables, and herbs throughout the supermarket chain.
This strategic partnership was created in a bid to respond to the needs of modern consumers who want to enjoy healthy, tasty food with a minimum of waste and preparation time.
