The professional F&B trade fair THAIFEX World of Food Asia, returning this May 20-24 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, has extended its exhibition area by 15%, as well as the number of participants, both international and local, by 10%.
The event expects over 35,000 visitors and 1500 exhibitors to Southeast Asia, representing 35 countries, with a showcase of 34 country and regional pavilions.
Under the umbrella of THAIFEX – World of Food Asia, the organizers, Koelnmesse, will also be hosting approximately 300 exhibitors for World of Coffee & Tea, World of FoodService and for World of Seafood.
The F&B industry covers varied areas and sectors, with a strong line-up of supporting programs, which provide a focused approach amidst the diverse segments of the F&B industry: Global Chefs Challenge, the culinary world’s most prestigious competition, Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge, employing an open kitchen concept, Asian Food Franchising Forum, which brings franchisors, franchisees, licensees, and entrepreneurs together for an intensive session on the latest developments and opportunities in the food franchise industry, as well as other programs.
The event has launched THAIFEX, the official exhibition app, designed to be the savvy visitor’s exhibition assistant. It is fully loaded with the complete exhibition directory, along with convenient categories that only include relevant exhibitors. The “Favorite” function also makes it easier for visitors to narrow down the exhibitors they want to visit.
“The lateral growth in the number of exhibitors and hall space, and the vertical growth in the depth of our supporting programs is a testament to the incredible level of the confidence the industry has in this show as an important trade event. THAIFEX-World of Food Asia has successfully created an optimal business platform for opportunities within Thailand, as well as the international market. We are certain that the diversity in programmes will allow both exhibitors and visitors to find countless opportunities to network and build new partnerships.” says Michael Dreyer, Vice President Asia Pacific, Koelnmesse Pte Ltd.
