Urschel will bring a selection of its latest food-processing equipment to CFIA, the European trade expo for food industry professionals, taking place March 10–12, 2026, in Rennes, France.
The company, a global supplier of industrial cutting technology, will feature three machines at Booth 5-A34, highlighting high-capacity, precision-driven solutions designed to improve efficiency across food-processing operations.
Among the equipment on display will be the Sprint 2 Dicer with a built-in discharge conveyor belt, engineered for continuous two- or three-dimensional cutting. The system allows operators to adjust slice thickness, crosscut, and circular knife spindles to produce a wide range of dices, crumbles, granulations, or strips. By combining cutting components within a compact cutting zone, the machine is designed to deliver consistent results while the conveyor belt supports controlled discharge intended to reduce waste.
Urschel will also present the E TranSlicer Cutter with an integrated discharge conveyor, developed to process firm and leafy, compressible products through interchangeable stainless-steel cutting options. The built-in conveyor is intended to support uninterrupted production, enabling batch handling into totes or onto platforms while keeping the machine at floor level for easier servicing. The design also promotes controlled product discharge aimed at minimizing waste.
A third featured machine, the CC-DL Shredder, is built for high-capacity shredding, slicing, strip cutting, and granulating applications. Food processors use the system across products including cheese, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, cooked meats, and pet food. Its 32-inch cutting enclosure is designed to sustain heavy throughput while limiting product build-up. Urschel says precision cutting is achieved through centrifugal force, an impeller, and sharpened cutting stations that guide product flow. The swing-away infeed hopper and stainless-steel construction are intended to improve accessibility for sanitation and routine maintenance.
Now in its 29th year, CFIA remains a key gathering for the European food industry, and Urschel’s return underscores the continued demand for automation and performance-driven cutting technology. The company will use the expo to demonstrate how its machinery can help processors raise line efficiency and reduce operating costs over time.
