Dawn Foods –  an American bakery product and ingredient manufacturer whose product portfolio includes frozen muffins and frozen dough –  is celebrating 100 years since it was established.

To mark the centenary, the company has unleashed the “Thank You to Bakers” campaign, which aims to raise awareness for the hard work the baker community puts in each day and to thank bakers across the globe for their dedication.

“As we look back at the legacy we’ve created, in partnership with our customers, we’ve grown from a small family business to nearly 5,000 team members. Additionally, we continue to lead the way in digital advancements and product innovations coming to market this year that are sure to excite customers. We have a promising year ahead and this campaign sets the tone for our yearlong appreciation to bakers,” said Carrie Jones-Barber, CEO of Dawn Foods.

Dawn Foods started as a family business in 1920 with the basics: two bakers and a recipe for donuts. To this day, Dawn remains a family-owned company – with three-generation Joneses still actively involved in growing the firm and serving customers.

Under the direction of the Jones family, Dawn Foods has become the international partner of choice for bakers and culinary professionals around the world. The firm now produces more than 4,000 products, employs nearly 5,000 people and does business in more than 105 countries.
