French Own Label Show MDD Becomes M.A.D.E

The French private label trade show MDD, which includes a distinct area for frozen food own label products, will change its name to M.A.D.E (meaning Marques Associées Distribution Event = French for Own Label Brands for Distributors Event), starting with the 2017 edition, taking place March 28-29 in Paris.

“In 2001, MDD expo was created to present all manufacturers of private label products to the French retail market. Over the last 15 years, the exhibition has developed real expertise in this market. Today, it is this knowledge of the market that leads the exhibition to reinvent itself and move towards a new identity; an identity that corresponds to the new needs of its exhibitors and visitors, coming from ever more diverse sectors and backgrounds,” said the organizers.

The M.A.D.E. expects 500 exhibitors specialized in the creation of custom-made products for own brands and different distribution networks, a third of whom come from outside France. Bringing together manufacturers with diverse know-how in four sectors: Grocery, Fresh, Frozen and Non-Food, the M.A.D.E. presents a large range of ingredients and finished products, in keeping with the latest trends: Organic, Free From, regional and local products, premium, nomadic consumption, eco-designed, vegan, ethnic, snacking, Made in France etc.
