The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA), the premier trade association for all areas of the frozen and refrigerated foods sector, has announced the findings of its most recent Atomik poll in recognition of National Frozen Food Month.
The findings, which looked at grocery shopping and meal preparation practices, revealed resounding support for the notion that having frozen foods on hand is essential for affordability, convenience, and the preparation of healthful meals.
Important discoveries emphasizing the benefits of frozen meals consist of:
Convenience and Inspiration: A resounding 83% of respondents concur that meal preparation is made easier by frozen food, and nearly all respondents (99%) find inspiration for supper in the frozen aisle.
Budget-Friendly Benefits: Frozen meals are a great tool for consumers who are cost cautious because nearly two-thirds of adults (64%) think they assist them manage rising shopping expenses.
Healthy Options: Almost four out of five parents (79%) and more than three out of five people (61%) think frozen options are a part of a nourishing breakfast.
Frozen food is a particularly useful tool for parents to manage rising grocery expenses and meal preparation. More parents than those without children at home believe that frozen food helps them stretch their budgets, with 76% of parents saying as much.
