Pukka is making a significant move to bolster its production capacity with the addition of a third Starfrost Helix spiral freezer at its Syston bakery in Leicestershire.

Scheduled for installation later this year, the new freezer follows the successful deployment of two Starfrost systems in 2021, reinforcing Pukka’s long-term commitment to innovation and expansion. By replacing an older, less efficient freezing system, the latest Helix spiral freezer is expected to ensure uninterrupted supply while improving overall performance.

Equipped with state-of-the-art freezing technology, the system is designed to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance requirements, resulting in a more reliable and streamlined production process. The precision performance of the Helix freezer will enable Pukka to maintain consistency across every batch, preserving the taste and freshness that have become hallmarks of the brand.
