The modern building, designed with functionality in mind, provides an inspiring workspace for 450 head office employees. It showcases Seafrigo’s commitment to sustainability, having been certified as a low-carbon and renewable energy generator under the BEPOS Effinergie 2017 standard.
Founded in 1979 by Eric Barbé, Seafrigo Group has expanded from its Le Havre origins to establish a global presence across five continents. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including multi-modal forwarding, warehousing, value-added services, and advanced refrigerated solutions.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by notable figures, including former French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and Foreign Trade Minister Franck Reister. They joined Eric Barbé, key customers, and business partners in unveiling a commemorative plaque.
During the event, Barbé emphasized that the new headquarters represents Seafrigo’s dynamic growth and ongoing leadership in the temperature-controlled food logistics industry.
