Consumers are much more attentive than before when it comes to diet: the plate is scrutinized, the origin of food is established and the nutritional composition is calculated. Naturalness has become a buoyant trend of the global innovative supply, and a major lever to ensure the pleasure of eating healthily.
The link between health and food is now clearly established. This does not mean eating in a medical way, consuming “enriched” products. The health/naturalness benefit of products is created naturally: by a recognized origin, by the absence of some suspect ingredients, by using “soft” production methods against industrial processes or even by ingredients which are naturally good for our organism. Three trends structure this second act.
