The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) during its 2019 AFFI Frozen Food Convention in San Diego has announced it has appointed new officers and directors to its board.
The new officers are Mike McEvoy of Sargento Foods as chair, while Meghan Swan of J.R. Simplot Co. is now chair elect and Shawn Campbell of NORPAC is immediate past chair.
The nine board members elected during the event include Tracey Beck of Conagra Brands, Kurt Deibel of Kraft Heinz and Jordan Greenberg of B&G Foods.

Each individual brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will contribute to AFFI’s strategic priorities of advancing food safety, advocating for frozen and boosting category performance,” said Alison Bodor, president and CEO of AFFI.
