Natural Choice Foods has appointed Mark Fleming as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 23, 2025.
The leadership change marks a new phase of strategic growth for the company, which specializes in value-driven food solutions through retail, private label, and contract manufacturing partnerships.
Mr. Fleming brings three decades of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, with a background spanning branded, private label, foodservice, and contract-manufactured product portfolios. He most recently served as CEO and board member at Urban Farmer, a producer of better-for-you frozen foods with a focus on gluten-free pizza, crusts, and snacks.
Prior to that, Mr. Fleming held multiple senior leadership roles at TreeHouse Foods, the largest pure-play private label food manufacturer in the U.S. While there, he led the Meal Preparation Division, managing a $3.2 billion portfolio across 16 food categories. He also previously served as President of the company’s Baked Goods and Meals divisions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Fleming held leadership positions at ConAgra, H.J. Heinz, and Kraft Foods, where he oversaw well-known consumer brands including Heinz Ketchup, Smart Ones frozen meals, A.1. Steak Sauce, and Honey Bunches of Oats cereal.
He holds an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mark to Natural Choice Foods,” said Shayne Eisenga, Owner and Founder of the company. “His extensive experience across the food industry and proven leadership in both branded and private label businesses make him the ideal person to guide our company into the future.”
Mr. Fleming is expected to work closely with the company’s leadership team, vendor partners, and customers as Natural Choice Foods looks to build on its existing foundation and pursue new opportunities for expansion and operational innovation.
