The international seafood community is set to converge in Singapore this September for the 2025 edition of Seafood Expo Asia, a key industry event that serves as a gateway for global suppliers to engage directly with buyers across the Asian market.

Organized by Diversified Communications, the expo will take place from September 10–12 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, offering a dynamic platform for dealmaking, networking, and exploration of emerging trends in one of the world’s fastest-growing seafood markets.

Designed as a strategic meeting ground for industry professionals across the supply chain, the expo will feature a wide array of seafood suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers from around the globe. Attendees—including buyers from foodservice, retail, wholesale, hospitality, and catering sectors—will have access to a comprehensive showcase of products, from fresh and frozen seafood to state-of-the-art processing solutions and sustainability-driven innovations.

“The uniqueness of this event is in its tailored approach to connecting worldwide seafood companies with the buyers they need to expand their business in the Asian market,” said Wynter Courmont, Vice President of Seafood at Diversified. “The event offers several onsite opportunities for exhibitors, buyers in the Asian market and seafood professionals to develop deeper relationships in-person and discover new market opportunities to achieve annual business goals.”

This year’s edition reflects the event’s growing global influence, with participating companies hailing from markets as diverse as Australia, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, the United States, and Vietnam. First-time national participation from Estonia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as new pavilions representing China, South Korea, Estonia, and Taiwan, further underscores the show’s expanding international reach.

Notable seafood companies confirmed for the exhibition floor include AquaChile, Blumar Seafoods, Loch Duart Salmon, Fanny Bay Oysters, Vinh Hoan Corporation, Marennes Oleron Oysters, Saint Kerber, Ulka Seafoods, and the Pacific Urchin Harvesters Association. Equipment and solution providers such as BAADER ASIA, JD5 Hygiene GmbH, Moon Environment Technology, and Silikal GmbH will also be in attendance, highlighting new technologies in processing, packaging, refrigeration, and hygiene systems.

The expo’s Business Matchmaking Program, a key feature of the event, will once again provide qualified high-volume seafood importers and foodservice buyers the opportunity to engage in pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, helping to streamline sourcing and accelerate commercial outcomes.

Beyond the exhibition, the program includes a robust lineup of live culinary demonstrations, product samplings, and competitions, including the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards and the popular Oyster Challenge. The conference component will bring together leading voices from across the industry to address timely issues such as technological advances in seafood processing, innovations in aquaculture, supply chain traceability, and evolving approaches to sustainability.

As global demand for seafood continues to rise—and with Asia at the forefront of both consumption and innovation—Seafood Expo Asia 2025 positions itself as a pivotal moment for stakeholders looking to solidify partnerships, discover new products, and navigate the complexities of the regional market. For many in the industry, Singapore will serve not just as a venue, but as a launchpad for growth in the year ahead.
